For years, we’ve dreamed of creating a place where dogs could have fun, be themselves, and enjoy a safe, loving environment surrounded by people who genuinely care about them. It was always something we wanted to do, but for one reason or another, the opportunity never quite came along.
Then we found the perfect property… and suddenly, the dream we’d talked about for years could finally happen.
Four Paws Dog Play Centre is an extension of something that has always been a huge part of our lives — Nell’s Natural Raw Food. Having spent years surrounded by dogs and their owners through Nell’s, we wanted to create something that went beyond food and gave dogs their own special place to play, socialise and have fun.
Why Four Paws?
The name is actually very personal to us.
Alongside Nell, we have four other dogs — Poppy, Jack, Slinky and Nova — who are a huge part of our family. When we started bringing the idea of Four Paws to life, we knew we wanted them to be part of it too.
And that’s where the name Four Paws came from — a little tribute to the four very special dogs who have been part of our lives and our journey.
We even took inspiration from them for our logo. The ears you see in our Four Paws logo are actually Poppy, Jack, Slinky and Nova’s ears! Each one is unique, just like them, and we love that they have their own little place within the Four Paws story.
For us, Four Paws isn’t just another business. It’s something we’ve dreamed about for years, and finding the perfect property gave us the opportunity to finally turn that dream into reality.
It also feels like a natural next step alongside Nell’s Natural Raw Food, bringing together two things we’re passionate about — dogs and giving them the very best.
Our aim is simple: to create a place where dogs can have the best time, be themselves, and enjoy a safe, welcoming environment — while their owners can relax knowing their four-legged family members are somewhere they’re genuinely cared for.
We’re incredibly excited to finally open the doors and share our dream with you and your dogs.
