Session Information

Session Information 🐾

At Four Paws, we want every dog β€” and every owner β€” to have a safe, enjoyable and stress-free experience. Here’s everything you need to know before your visit.

πŸ• Your Session

Each booking includes a 45-minute private play session, giving your dog plenty of time to explore, sniff, run, play and enjoy the space.

We allow 15 minutes between bookings so our staff can check the play area, clean where necessary and make sure everything is ready for the next customer.

Please arrive in good time for your booking, but please don't enter the play area until your allocated session time. At the end of your 45 minutes, please leave promptly so we can prepare the area for the next booking.

Late arrivals will not be able to extend their session, as we need to keep to the scheduled timings for everyone.

πŸ’© Accidents Happen!

We know that accidents are sometimes unavoidable β€” especially when dogs are excited in a new environment!

If your dog has an accident during their session, please use the designated clean-up area and dispose of waste appropriately.

We kindly ask that all owners do their part to leave the area clean and tidy for the next customer. This helps us keep Four Paws fresh, clean and enjoyable for everyone.

πŸ’§ Water

Fresh drinking water is available for your dog during their visit. Please make sure your dog has access to water, particularly during warmer weather or if they are enjoying an energetic session.

🐢 Is Your Dog Suitable for a Session?

Please do not bring your dog if they are showing signs of illness or have a contagious condition. This includes vomiting, diarrhoea, coughing or other symptoms that could potentially be passed to another dog.

If your dog becomes unwell before your booking, please contact us as soon as possible so we can discuss your options.

We also ask that owners make us aware of any behavioural or medical considerations that may affect their dog's visit.

🩷 Dogs in Season

For the comfort, safety and wellbeing of all dogs using Four Paws, we do not allow female dogs who are in season to use the play area.

As a general guide, we ask that female dogs remain away from the centre for at least 21 days from the first day of their season, or longer if they are still showing signs of being in season.

This policy helps reduce the risk of unwanted mating and helps us maintain a calm and comfortable environment for all dogs.

We understand that seasons can sometimes arrive unexpectedly. If your dog comes into season before your booking, please contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to rearrange your session for another suitable date.

Thank you for helping us keep Four Paws a safe and enjoyable environment for every dog. 🐾

❀️ Nervous or Reactive Dogs

We understand that not every dog is comfortable around other dogs, people or unfamiliar situations.

If your dog is reactive, nervous or has specific requirements, please contact us before your visit. We will always do our best to make their experience as comfortable as possible.

Where possible, we may be able to arrange an alternative entrance or exit to help avoid unnecessary contact with other dogs.

Please speak to us β€” we'd much rather know in advance so we can work with you to find the best solution.

πŸ‘¨πŸ‘©πŸ‘§ Children & Supervision

Children are welcome where appropriate, but must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

Please remember that the play area is designed for dogs, and dogs can behave unpredictably when excited. Children should never be left unattended with dogs or allowed to interfere with dogs using the equipment.

🦴 Using the Equipment

Our equipment is there for your dog to enjoy, but please let your dog use it at their own pace.

Never force your dog onto or over equipment if they are nervous or uncomfortable.

Owners are responsible for supervising their dogs throughout the session and should intervene if they feel their dog is becoming overly tired, stressed or uncomfortable.

⚠️ Safety & Use of the Play Area

Use of the Four Paws play area and equipment is at the owner's own risk.

Dogs can behave unpredictably, and there are inherent risks associated with running, jumping, playing and using dog agility/play equipment.

Owners are responsible for supervising their dogs and ensuring they are suitable to use the play area.

Please ensure gates are securely closed when entering and leaving and never open a gate while another dog is entering or exiting the area.

Four Paws Dog Play Centre cannot accept responsibility for injury, loss or damage except where liability cannot legally be excluded or limited.

πŸ”§ Damage to Equipment or Property

We understand that dogs can be dogs! However, owners may be responsible for the cost of significant damage caused by their dog to the play area, fencing, equipment or other Four Paws property.

If your dog does cause damage, please let us know rather than leaving it for the next customer.

🌧️ Weather

Our sessions can go ahead in most weather conditions, but the safety and welfare of the dogs will always come first.

In the event of extreme weather or circumstances outside our control, we may need to cancel or rearrange a session. If this happens, we will contact you as soon as possible and discuss the available options.

πŸ“… Cancellations & No-Shows

We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel or rearrange your booking, please give us as much notice as possible.

Our cancellation and refund policy will apply to all bookings, including late cancellations and no-shows.

🐾 Most Importantly...

We want Four Paws to be somewhere that you and your dog genuinely enjoy coming to.

Whether your dog wants to sprint around like a lunatic, spend 45 minutes sniffing every blade of grass, practise their agility skills or simply enjoy some quality time with you β€” Four Paws is their time to be a dog.

If you have any questions, special requirements or simply aren't sure whether a session would be suitable for your dog, please get in touch before booking. We're always happy to have a chat.

From our paws to yours β€” have fun! 🐾❀️
